MO State Partridge Championship 1-2015
Missouri State Partridge Championship - January 31-February 1, 2015 - Bear Lake Kennel - Ridgeway, MO
Rain, sleet, snow and wind pretty much sums up the weekend. Woke up to rain on Saturday that turned to snow midday and caused havoc. A semi-trailer jack-knifed and closed down the freeway. A snowplow spun-out and caused the Nebraska boys to take to the ditch. Iowa closed parts of the freeway and called off the tow trucks. Pizza Hut even had to stop their delivery service the night of the Superbowl because of the inclement road conditions. However, a group of us hunkered down, ate pizza, played cribbage, and watched the Superbowl at the Super 8. Traveling home for some was a white-knuckle drive...probably saw over 100 cars in the ditches and in Des Moines an SUV's front end was completely engulfed in flames after a collision. And I thought being in the field during a hunt was dangerous... :)
